3. Transfer of personal data

3.1. General information

Your data will be transferred to the shipping carriers commissioned with the delivery if and when required to deliver the goods, and to service providers commissioned by us to the extent required. To process payments, we pass your payment data on to the credit institution responsible for the execution of the payment, the service provider PayPal or Paymorrow GmbH.

3.2. Paymorrow GmbH

We collaborate with Paymorrow GmbH (Erzbergerstraße 117, 76133 Karlsruhe, telephone no. +49 721 / 480 84 – 0) with regard to the "pay by instalments" and "purchase on account" payment options. We obtain information on your payment history from the following credit reference agencies which store data in order to provide information:

  • Bürgel, Bürgel Wirtschaftsinformationen GmbH & Co. KG, Gasstraße 18, D-22761 Hamburg, tel.: +49 (0) 40 - 89 80 3 0, fax: -777

For the purpose of doing its own credit assessment, Paymorrow GmbH or partner companies commissioned by Paymorrow GmbH may request information on credit worthiness as necessary from the institutes mentioned on the basis of mathematical-statistical procedures. 3.2.3. Identity verification ("purchase on account")

When you "purchase on account" via Paymorrow GmbH, your personal data will be transmitted to SCHUFA (SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden) to verify your identity, and SCHUFA will thereupon retransmit the closeness of agreement of the personal data stored by it with the personal data provided by you in percentages as well as, where applicable, a reference to any previous identification-supported authentication check done by SCHUFA or another contracting party back to Paymorrow GmbH. Paymorrow GmbH is thus able to determine based on the transmitted match percentages whether a person with the address indicated by you is stored in SCHUFA's database. There is no further exchange of data or transmission of deviating addresses and your data will not be stored in the SCHUFA- database. Only the fact that the address was verified will be stored at SCHUFA for documentation purposes only.

3.2.4. Payment by instalments ("pay by instalments")

Paymorrow GmbH processes the "pay by instalments" payment procedure in collaboration with a partner bank, Commerz Finanz GmbH. If and when the customer's request to "buy on account" or "pay by instalments" was accepted by Paymorrow GmbH, the customer has the option of applying for the "pay by instalments" payment method via the partner bank of Paymorrow GmbH. To do so, the customer may select the "pay by instalments" offer in the Paymorrow customer portal upon successfully completing his order in the online shop. To use the service, the customer must follow the instructions in the "pay by instalments" menu item. The "pay by instalments" service is made available by Commerz Finanz GmbH. When entering his request to "pay by instalments" via the Paymorrow customer portal, the customer discloses his first and last name, street, house number, postcode, city, date of birth and telephone number to Commerz Finanz GmbH in order to conclude the credit agreement and process the payment for his online purchases in Paymorrow partner shops. These personal data are required by Commerz Finanz GmbH to consider and decide upon the customer's credit enquiry for the "pay by instalments" payment method. When "pay by instalments" is selected, the credit agreement comes into effect between the customer and Commerz Finanz GmbH only. Only the terms and conditions and the data privacy principles of Commerz Finanz GmbH apply to the loan agreement and its execution.
